150cm x 300cm
Mixed media: ink, acrylic and soft pastels on paper
The biblical “kiss of death”. Judas is replaced by an angel, who kisses Jesus not in betrayal, but in sorrow. Knowing the inevitability of Christ’s death as part of God’s plan, the angel weeps as they share a final moment. Their shared tears is acceptance; a recognition of sacrifice, love, and fate.
